Holodomor (from Ukrainian ‘death of starvation’) is one of the most painful pages of Ukrainian history.
The country, which has 1/4 of chernozems – the most fertile soils on Earth – lost an estimated 3-10 million people because of an artificial famine, orchestrated by bolsheviks.
And it’s too painful to write about it now, when we just passed 1000 days of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
But today, I’ll light a candle along with millions of Ukrainians worldwide to commemorate those who passed because of Bolshevik terror.
